Pain never truly goes away, until you find something deeper and meaningful that cures the heart and fills it with love.

That is what Aurora desperately wants to believe. That somehow her music can save her, or even touch the unreachable heart of the guy she has liked for years.

Rora yearns for his attention and wants to experience this so-called love that could possibly end her long suffering and inspire her to chase after her dreams.

In deeply understanding the feelings of others and herself, will Aurora give up on ever finding true happiness, or will an intriguing soul teach her about the greatest song ever written? (Goodreads Excerpt)

I have to say that once I got into this book it really captured me and kept me reading. The beginning of the book is a little slow, but it picks up and the story draws you in. I really enjoyed the main character Aurora. I liked her spirit and enjoyed watching her emotional reactions to the events that takes place and people around her.

I am not a big fan of love triangles, but the way this was written it was easily enjoyed. **Spoiler** I think you knew from the moment she connects with Deagan that he is her soul mate. I never really liked Milo and we don’t really get to know him much other than Rora’s crush. I think the author did this on purpose so that the reader connected more with Deagan from the start. He is more of a distraction and a way for Rora to know what is truly in her heart. The chemistry between them is amazing.!**end of spoiler**

I loved the musical aspect of this book. I thought it was pretty cool that the author wrote the songs that are in the book. Very original and made it more personal to me.

Overall I enjoyed the book. It was unique and entertaining, but I think it could have used another go around with a really good editor. 3 ½ stars for me.

Well what can I say now that it is all over? It was quite the ride I have to admit that. I was absolutely thrilled with the conclusion to the series. It was an amazing, tense, heart pounding, on the edge of your seat thrilling and wow…swoon worthy too!

I have become a HUGE fan of Jennifer Armentrout. She has not disappointed me yet and I can’t wait to read whatever she comes up with next. Amazing story telling, world building, character development and everything else that makes a book hard to put down.

It is hard to come up with a review for the fifth book without giving away anything from the previous books so I will leave it at this…

It had taken everything for me not to slam my fist into his face.  I had calmed down enough that bringing the house down on its foundation was unlikely to occur.  Still a possibility, though.
