So far I am really enjoying this fourth book of the series.  I love the Lux series.  Jennifer Armentrout doesn’t disappoint.

I just finished this book and decided to use it again for this week’s teaser.  It was fantastic, very emotional and gripping.  I have to give my daughter credit for this one.  I will post a review soon.

He always knows what to say to me.  How to make me feel normal.  I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have survived Brady’s death without him.  In fact, I know I wouldn’t have.

I tried to stop her but was held back by Soeur Berthe’s brawny arms.  She did not release me, no matter how hard I kicked her with my heavy wooden clogs. ‘Salope,’ I cried, and, ‘Putain,’ and all the other curses and maledictions I could think of, but it did not good.

My quills and ink and parchment were gone, and with them any chance of writing my way out of this prison.

This weeks teaser is from the same book as last week. Sorry it has been a slow reading week! Arggghhh!

Taking in the destruction the gods were wreaking, I knew only one thing-and it hurt in a way that shouldn’t have, in a way I couldn’t really explain.  Seth had to die, but I had no idea how to do it…or if I really could, when it came down to it.

I flipped through my kindle and found this gem waiting patiently for me. It is the opening line of the book and it intrigued me so much I bumped it up on my list to TBR next list. There are currently 5 books in the series.
