Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
I’m not sure where the ideas come from they just sort of jump in my head. Some of it is from my own experience. I use my girls for character traits. They laugh when they read something that they know is uniquely theirs.
Where can we find your books?
The Witch Guardian is in paperback in Canada in most bookstores like Chapters or direct from the publisher General Store Publishing House, it can be ordered at Amazon.com and it is available on just about any e-reader, Kindle, Kobo, Nook, etc.
If you could leave your readers with one bit of wisdom, what would you want it to be?
Don’t let anyone tell you who you are or what you can be. Figure it out for yourself and go for it.
Any new books coming out soon?
I just finished a book called Mind over Matter. It is about a young girl who has empathic ability and can sense the emotions of those around her. It is very stressful for her dealing with life and she is very angry and a bit of a juvenile delinquent. She ends up in a mental rehab facility where she meets a doctor who helps her learn to control and develop her powers. It is a little older than The Witch Guardian and a little darker.
I am also currently working on a new book entitled Souls of the Chimera which is about a girl named Madie and her ghost twin sister named Allie, who died before she was born. The ghost twin wants to take over Madie’s body and experience real life. Again this one is a little older than The Witch Guardian, but so far very interesting to write.
